What is the meaning of life?
What is the meaning of life? Are we even meant to know the answer to this question? I don’t think so.
Always questioning is what keeps us moving forward. It gives us a purpose to live, to find out what is coming next.
We are all searching for our purpose, something that brings more happiness into our lives and the lives of others.
Why am I here?
As an individual you have probably asked yourself, why am I here?
We all have asked ourselves this question numerous times. It’s normal. I don’t have an answer. But I can tell you that we are here to continue to evolve: personally, socially, and physically.
Learning is Key to Evolution
I want to be the best ME I can be. Learning makes me happy and being happy means being excited about being alive. The excitement comes from making choices, or even changes in your life when needed.
Evolution ceases when people become a program, or take numbing drugs, or succumb to the bombardment of social media, and allow other people to tell them how to live their lives.
But I am just too freaking curious to hang back and not see what this amazing life has to offer.
The Meaning of Life Is To Be Happy
If life’s purpose is to evolve into something greater, then what role are we playing as individuals?
Basically, our role, as inhabitants of the universe is to ensure we keep living, don’t blow up the world, keep learning, maintain a level of happiness, and reproduce.
As individuals, we have the right to choose our level of involvement within each of these categories.
This I know. Sitting in front of a TV and watching sports with a beer in my hand is not my purpose.
That lifestyle has never made sense to me. Don’t get me wrong, it is nice to occasionally enjoy a beer and catch a game with friends.
But when you have two days off from work (weekends) each week, those days should not be dedicated to the television or any other kind of media.
You work too hard for your time off. Get out and enjoy nature. Have friends over for dinner. Or write a book.
However, you spend your time, make sure it truly makes you happy.
Live a Purpose Driven Life
Feeling like my life has purpose is a need in my life.
For now, my purpose in life is to continue to learn, create and evolve as an individual. By sharing my purpose with others, I am working to achieve fulfillment.
Evolve on my friends!
